Hello all,

I'm creating a .ctmx file and am running into a bit of an irritation w.r.t. hyperlinked text with Tool Tip NT.  Am hoping someone has already figured out a solution.

I start out with an MS Word file that has multiple hyperlinks.  Let's assume that word "hyperlink" in the last sentence was one of them, and when I mouse click on it, the web browser opens and takes me to the appropriate web page.

Then I copy and paste the contents of the Word file into Tool Tips NT and take the necessary steps to create a .cmtx file.  I can then view my work in E-Sword, but the program requires me to use CTRL + CLICK in order to follow the link.  I want to simply click on the link to make the magic happen.

I can use the INSERT > LINK process in Tool Tips to create the desired effect, but as I have many, many links already set up in the Word document, I'd prefer to avoid the extra effort.

Appreciate any help, and THANKS in advance!

Try saving the Word document as a rich text format or .rtf file then opening the .rtf file in the Tool Tips program, from there save it as a .ctmx module file

Just a note to close this issue further to our chat.

It appears that it would be a setting in eSword that is not exposed for users to change (unless anyone knows a registry setting).

There is a setting in T4 and Word.
