In the Greek New Testament (with variants) module it includes such abbreviations as: "A," "TSB," and "TS." (I've attached a screen shot.)

I can't, however, find anyplace where it explains what these abbreviations mean.  Could someone, please, explain them to me?

Thanks!

A=Alexandrian sources (Westcott-Hort, Tregelles, SBLGNT, Alford, Nestle-Aland,,..) are based of only 5% or less of the Greek manuscripts.

T=Textus Receptus 1550 from Stefanus source (most Textus Receptus based Bibles are between Textus Receptus 1550 and the Scrivener(1894) version)

B= Byzantine Majority 2000 & 2005 Maurice A. Robinson and William G. Pierpont sources

S=Scrivener(1894) the Textus Receptus that should be the source of the King James version.

TSB Based on T, S and B when some Alexandrian sources disagree with the other Greek sources. (A is then a minority reading)

TS  Based on T and S when the other sources disagree with the two Textus Receptus versions.

When GNT-V is active click then on Bible in the menu above and information.
