Marvellous work GreenRacoon23

Noticed a bug; If a chapter has footnotes exceeding 'z' that is more than 26 and has footnotes letter 'aa', 'ab', 'ac' after 'z' then the footnote following 'z' is appended or overwrites the footnote for 'a'
so to say footnote for 'a' will be replaced by footnote for 'aa'

Case in example https://www.biblegat... 24&version=LEB

Luke 24 has more than 26 footnotes in Lexham English Bible and this problem happens.

Also is there a way you can add support for cross references. Some bibles have footnotes and cross references.

Could you also add support for the following sites;

http://www.biblestud...bible-versions/  --> Bibles here have footnotes, cross refences and much more integreted if all options are enabled

http://www.studylight.org/bible/

http://biblehub.net/search.php?q=

Silly question.  I have some bbl files but cannot get them to be recognized on mysword.  I have mysword modules path set to sd card.  When I look in the ..\Card\Android\data\com.riversoft.android.mysword\files, there are no other files.  When I install the bbl files there, nothing occurs for the program.

Could anyone assist?

Thanks,

HI,

Thanks again for this great tool!!

I have downloaded the ERV-HU and converted it several times but I keep coming up with missing verses and even missing Chapters, (like Romans 8) :-0

Is there any workaround for that??

Cheers, jeff

I can't get the script to work in Linux -- Linux Mint or Opensuse 13.2.

> python bible_gateway.py KJV
  File "bible_gateway.py", line 49
    [print('{: ^79}'.format(line)) for line in self.image]

Hey, GreenRacoon23!

First off, thanks for all your work on this script.

Are you still offering the python source, or is the bible_gateway.py.zip file up to date?  I'm trying to learn a bit more scripting and I'm also running into issues with the CJB (Complete Jewish Bible).  Seems a lot of verses from prior chapters are showing up in the next, not duplicating but just filtering over (i.e. Gen 32 starts out with Gen 31:55).  This is probably not a fault in your script but is because of how it is presented on BibleGateway, I wanted to take a hack at delivering a potential fix.

~~ John

This is genius!! Thanks so much for putting all the effort into this! I've downloaded/converted the versions that I have license for and they all work perfectly (at least as much as I've experimented with so far - even the Chinese versions!).

However, downloading/converting "The Message" version gives a mess that is hard to describe. That's the only one that didn't work out so well. If you have time to take a look at it, we'd appreciate it but if not, that's OK too. What you've provided is so very valuable. Thank you bunches!

Hello,

I'm new to the mysword software, which I find is simply wonderful. I'm also really new to this website, so I hope you can help me out.

When I found mysword, some months ago (I used to have only PDF Bibles or single-Bible apps), I looked for modules and started to notice the vast quantity of versions available in so many languages. :D It's been a great blessing!

Now, the people from mysword uploaded a migration tool. I used it to convert a RV1960 (spanish) Bible from a TheWord module (which I realized just now, was taken from a e-Sword module compilation). The thing is, that I haven't found it available for mysword anywhere. Even though there are many different great versions that are being used nowadays among the Spanish-speaking community, the RV1960 has been the most used one in the last decades. Would it be ok to upload it on the site?

The other thing, which was the main reason for this post, is that I would like to have the NIV and the NASB. I wanted to convert them from e-Sword or TheWord, but I could not find them. I only found the NVI (spanish version of NIV), which has very similar verse disposition, as I checked on a bilingual Bible I bought a few weeks ago.

I read the first message on this post, but I don't understand at all how to do it. I have little knowledge on cmd for windows, but I can learn. Please, if you could direct me with the basics and then be able to follow the steps on the 1st message to convert those 2 Bibles for mysword. (The one I require the most is the NASB)

Many thanks in advance and blessings to all in the community!

PS: If anyone needs any help on anything regarding English-Spanish translations, I'll be pleased to help.

I second this. I get the same error. Tried several translations.

Can somebody help us?
