This is McGarvey's Notes On Sacred History by J.W. McGarvey. This Volume covers McGarvey's notes and Questions, etc. dealing with Genesis through the book of Job. There are many outlines of these Old Testament books, plus many questions covering various passages in these books. There's a lot of stuff there. If I had more time, I'd probably organize it as a Commentary instead as a reference book. But there's some good stuff here. I was privileged for many years to preach from the same pulpit that McGarvey used in the late 19th century(1890's) when I worked with the Van Buren Church of Christ in Kentucky(not far from Lexington,Ky.). Hope that you will find some use for these various notes, outlines and questions contained in this file.
