I have been a bit slow to discover e-sword, but am extremely grateful for having done so.  It is a fantastic resource for bible study, with so many versions and commentaries, all free.  Amazing.  God bless you.

Welcome to e-Sword. I've been enjoying it for years, and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Welcome to this forum, and like Journey, Welcome to the world of e-Sword.

This bloke here (which is me) is totally besotted (wow that is extreme) with e-Sword. If you read any of my posts and my blogs about this program you'll see just how much I really love it.

Well, soo much for me, turning the attention back on you.

The thing you will notice about e-Sword is that its really a very simple and straight forward program to use. Its actually got a very low learning curve for te new user, such as yourself, which I think will make your experience with this program quite enjoyable. Now, bearing this in mind, should you come across any difficulty, there is an extremely fantastic User's Giude that came with your program. This can be accessed from your Help menu, or by simply pressing F1 on your keyboard.

A real good tip for you; take your time in exlporing the program so that you can get to know it. Use the User's Guide as you go through the program as though you are taking a tour through it, and this will completelly familiarise you with e-Sword. Then from there you can really launch into some really fantastic Bible Study.

Blessings,

STJBKunden....

You're in for the "Ride of your Life" ! Listen carefully to what APsit190 wrote to you.....there's a lot of wisdom in those few brief words ! Its been my experience that you didn't get to E-sword all by yourself. The Lord has led you here.....let Him guide and use you.....you'll find the resources He wants you to have. Then just serve Him with the knowledge you gain. By the way...."WELCOME ABOARD".....YOU'RE FAMILY NOW !!  GOD BLESS YA !!
