I am so thankful for this site.  It is a blessing.  I have lots of things found here in book form but it is so good to be able to add them to the computer through ESword.  Great site!

Hello Jimmyy,

I also give thanks. Josh and his team have spent countless hours working on this site. I especially give thanks that God is using the materials here around the world for His Glory.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I am so thankful for this site.  It is a blessing.  I have lots of things found here in book form but it is so good to be able to add them to the computer through ESword.  Great site!

Now, I have to totally agree with this, and when I think about it, if Josh didn't have the vision for this it wouldn't have happened. So with that, I think there is so much we can be really about and praise God for.

With that in mind, I want to put focus on those who have really done, and do things which, in reality, comes from a heart of love toward one another in the Body.

  • Rick Meyers, the creator of e-Sword
  • Josh Bond, the creator of this website, creator of e-Sword third party resources, etc.
  • Brent Hildebrand (I hope I got his name spelled correctly) creator of ToolTip Tool NT (otherwise simply known as and refer to as T4)
  • Niobi Watson (aka Patchwork Kid) a prolific third party resource, and author of his Bible Study set.
  • Many other Resource creators, software developers, Technical writers, Authors, and the huge amount of contributors who have helped new and older users which are too numerous to remember

of which have all extended their time for us all.

In sharing all of this, I can truly say that we have a wonderful God.

I have both commented and remarked on this before, and I think it really bears mentioning again; I have not known (and still do not know) of any other Bible program which enjoys the international support that e-Sword does. I do not think, nor believe that Rick Meyers, in his wildest dreams, could have envisioned this support and popularity this program has and enjoys.

Just to put some perspective to this, e-Sword is not by any stretch of the imagination a very powerful program when compared with others, e.g., The Word, for instance. Yet irrespective of the lack of features it has when put up against others, it stands out on its own as a program which by far outstrips its counterparts for the simplicity, ease of use, and clean interface it has which actually makes it a real joy to use.

As a professional software developer (albeit retired), I have never come across a program like this, that by all appearances should have failed due to the lack of, what could be regarded as, bells and whistles, yet has captured the hearts of millions of users worldwide. And I really mean worldwide. So, sorry to all Americans, you guys aren't the only users who use e-Sword :D.

As for myself, I'm a Kiwi, from New Zealand, and I've noticed that I'm not the only one here. Niobi Watson is a Pom ( a Brit, a person from England). Then there are those who are from Israel, other Middle Eastern countries, Europe, and etc, who are member of Bible Support and e-Sword Users. We have South Africans, Dutch, Germans, Asians of various kinds,  and all other nationalities here, that are e-Sword users. So with that, I can only say we are truly blessed, and have to praise God for each and everyone of you who have contributed in some way to the blessing of everyone here.

Blessings,

For many of us, grownups with scarce "computing knowledge", and who want to study seriously the Bible, the simplicity of e-sword is one of its strongest points. At the same time, the sheer magnitude of its resources is stupendous!

God bless all of you, who build all this.

(By the way, I´m from Argentina).
