I noticed that I can search SVD arabic version that I downloaded directly from e-sword. But I can't search the Arabic version that I converted using  Simple_Bible_Reader_v2.9.

Any recommendation??

Hi
is the module encrypted? Or in public domain?
If it is encrypted, it will not convert.

Thanks

Maybe its because the Simple_Bible_Reader's search engine cannot handle non-Latin text, i.e., Arabic.  To test this theory, try another non-Latin e.g., Hebrew or Greek text in the search engine, and see what happens. If it doesn't work for them, then you will know that the search engine for that program does not support non-Latin text.

Alternatively, don't use the Simple_Bible_Reade, ands just use e-Sword, and hey presto, your problem is totally solved. :D

thanks for your reply, I only use Simple_Bible_Reader to convert modules from xml to bblx.

I converted the arabic version successfully. I can read it using e-sword. But I can't search in it.

There is arabic translation already in e-sword, but it is with Vowels, it is hard to write the right vowel over every letter to search.

Is there other software that I can use to convert modules to bblx??

If your font is set to default it will not search try changing it to Arabic

open your bblx in Tooltip NT you will see something similar

#define abbreviation=ABBR

#define comments=CMTS

#define version=1

#define strong=0

#define right2left=0

#define ot=0

#define nt=1

#define font=DEFAULT  this should be ARABIC

#define apocrypha=0

using a database browser will also work

I had Greek Bibles that would not search I changed the Define font to GREEK and they search now

in case you need to DL ToolTip Tool http://www.biblesupp...ooltip-tool-nt/

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
