Hi Folks,

I'm running E-Sword 10.4.0 on a Win7 Pro system at a res. of 1600 x 900 and the forward arrow for the veses list is missing. I have the BACK arrow but not the forward. Anyone have any ideas on this?? It's a 64 bit system. NOTE If I run font size at 110% a lot of the E-Sword menus do not show and the only way to get them back is to go back to 100% font size. Is there ANY WAY to resolve this issue??

Thanks,

Clint

If you actually went back, then the forward arrow will show as enabled. The reason why the forward arrow is disabled is because it has nothing to go forward to.

I assume you are talking about the system font size. Get it where you want it and reboot the system before trying e-Sword. I'm also running Windows 7 with a resolution not quite as high as yours, and I have my system font size set to 130%. Everything is just fine in e-Sword. I hope this helps you some.

Clint,

a screenshot of your problem area would help. I see what you mean when I have tried a higher dpi. If I had not used eS at lower dpi, I would not know they were missing.

I sent the eSword developer an e-mail reporting this. Will post the reply here when I get it.

Jon,

Yes, only the “Normal Font” (96 dpi) and “Large Font” (120 dpi) settings are supported.

In His service,

Rick Meyers

Note that the 120 dpi is 125% Medium setting

Hi Folk,

Another new isue has creeped into the equation. When I start E-Sword, where the E-Sword tilt bar should be it says ESWORD NOT RESPONDING until I minimize it and then maximize it at which point the title bar reads "e-sword-the sword of the lord with an electronic edge". I tried reinstalling over the top of what I have but the issue still persists. As far as the font issue goes, anything beyond 100% wipes out the buttons on the bottom of the PRAYER LIST window leaving you with no way to get out of it. I have NOT tried the suggestion of going to 120% system font as all other sizes up to 110% do not work with e-sword. BTW I'm usinf a 27" LED Monitor on this system http://www.samsung.c...s/LS24D390HL/ZA

NOTE: Upon closing e-sword and then reopening it the title bar displays correctly, it's only showing the not responding message the FIRST TIME I open the program for the day or after a system reboot

NOTE NOTE: The next DPI showing on this system from 100% would be 125% unless I do a CUSTOM FONT SIZE ADJUSTMENT which i did to begin with and it does not work with e-sword

Ok, I bumped the res to 1920 x 1080 and ran 125% fonts and now E-sword is displaying correctly. Not sure about the NOT RESPONDING part though, so far so good though.
