Why not appear the accents or ñ letter when you open the file ".bblx" in e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT v2.37?

Thanks for confirming that issue Brent. (and as I write I see a fix has landed). Perhaps we need to keep a keen eye on the other files and be diligent about reporting back to you.

I just tried in English and Spanish to load a Bible file and it drops out at Genesis 4:20 for some reason. Do you have this behavior?

Jon

[edit] Also just tried an import of a Commentary while I had the Spanish setting and it has the same issue that 2.38 build had.

No doubt other file type are affected. The SIMPLE fix is just read them in the English setting.

Reading Genesis 4:20, using the BBLX file in question it reads it fine.  Do note that there are Genesis 4:23 would not be reconstructed by T4 correctly as it uses hard breaks and not soft breaks within the verse.

and just so you do not think it is the English vs Spanish setting, here it is in Spanish.

Hello BH!

Thank you for all the support given.

Still do not understand why in "e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT v2.39" I get the same error message when a verse is separated on different lines or sentences.

However, I will be waiting the release of the debug switch.

Greetings.

The release of the debug switch issue was uploaded.

The problem with the data in your file is that each verse needs to end with a hard return and poetry formatting needs a soft return (hold down shift key and press enter. You will see a ¬ .) If you press ¶ icon in ToolTip Tool, you will see the formatting as below. It indicates Hard returns at the end of poetry lines. For this to work you need soft return instead as shown in the second example.

Gén 2:23 Entonces dijo el hombre:

“Esto por fin es hueso de mis huesos

y carne de mi carne.e

Esta será llamada Mujer,*

porque del hombre* fue tomada esta”.f

I have modified T4 to change ¶  to ¬ when reading BBLX files within verses.  This will be in the next update.

Excellent "BH" And "JPG"!

Finally I have understood the reason of the problem.

Only "BH", when will it be the next update?

I'm working on a number of internal changes, but if you want just this update in reading BBLX files, you can download this file:

https://dl.dropboxus...TIPTOOLNT240.w3

Copy it to your  Tooltip Tool NT program file, and restart the program.  The About should say v2.40.

I have already installed v2.40 (temporal) but why not change "¶" to "¬" when reading BBLX files within verses?
