Is there an automatic way to just click a button and the reference or footnote populates for me in the topic notes? It seems like this would be something that would have been built in to the program already.

Hi

Highlight what you want to copy to topic note right click then choose Paste into topic notes

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Thank you, yes I was able to do that but what I would like to do is:

  • Create a new bibliography
  • Copy citations
  • What are the citations?

each Bible, commentary, Dictionary if included by The Module has an Information in the Information window accessible from the main window under the respective Bible commentary dictionary drop down menu

these may have more or less info that you need depending what your professors require

this info you will need to highlight and press ctrl-c and ctrl-v to copy and paste

you can submit this to Rick but it will still require module makers to enter the info

When working on a resource, such as a Dictionary, Bible translation/version, and/or Commentary, I try to get all the information I can:

  • About the Author
  • The Preface
  • Any other relevant information.

The best best website I found for information about Bible translations/versions is the Bible Research by Michael Marlowe. I think for those who are creating Bibles for e-Sword, this is the best place to get all the information about all the translations that are out there.

Other websites that which host online commentaries and dictionaries usually have information about them.

and etc. These are online resources I use, and found that give information about the study resources they host.

Blessings,
