That's right folks....if you scroll down the start page of biblesupport.com in the right hand column.....under "Interesting Stats".....you'll see we're only 112 downloads short of 3,000,000 downloads....as of 10:24 pm Sunday evening 9/28/2014 !! That is incredible !! That's 3,000,000 Blessings..... Ain't God Good ?! I thank Him 1st.....Then I thank each of you that make these Modules....and I thank each of you for the seemingly endless hours and hard work you put in....to supply the Saints with Bibles-Commentaries-Dictionaries and Reference materials to aid us in learning and understanding all we can about our loving God and this Great Salvation He has provided us thru His Son Jesus. Those of us that Preach and Teach have truly been Blessed.....and those we share the Gospel with each week from the Pulpit or in the Classroom.....share in those Blessings as well. What a great God we have the priviledge of serving. From the bottom of my heart I sincerely thank you for your hard work and dedication.....may God Bless and be with each of you throughout the following months as you continue Serving Him !

As all this is really great, what is also wonderful is the number of people joining this group, of which at this moment the membership totals to 114,724 members. Admittedly there is a mixture of e-Sword and MySword users who use either one or both of these programs, however the growth of this community and the number of downloads I (like) to believe is reflective of the desire to know more of God, and to develop and grow into the image of Christ.

 

What makes things more remarkable about this site and the amount of downloads and growth of this group, seems to me to be the quality of the works that are put up (uploaded) here. When you see the numbers on what members are downloading, you consistently see the resources that are of high quality and sound teaching being always downloaded, e.g., the 49 volume Expositor's Bible Commentary which has been at #1, from memory, since it has been uploaded on 27th October 2011. Of course one could argue that people download them primarily because these resources are free and don't really use them, however I don't think that really is the case. There are a lot of top quality resources, i.e., commentaries and dictionaries that I don't have, but of the ones I do have I actually use in my Bible studies, and I think that most would be of the same mind as I am with this.

 

So with all of that, once again, I want to thank Josh and all the other resource builders for putting up such wonderful and great works for us to use. I do not think that we would have such an avast amount of works if men (and can't forget about the women) who put in the time and effort to make available (quite literally) treasure of works of the quality that we are seeing today. You guys are really worth your weight in gold, and that your blood is worth bottling.
