Currently, I have the 10.1 version of e-sword. Should I upgrade and if so do I need to do 10.2 and 10.3 first? How will the upgrade effect the current version I have and the items I have downloaded. Sorry, I'm not very computer savvy when it comes to these technical issues. Any help, would be greatly appreciated. Love the e-sword program and blessings to you all.

Hi

You do not need to upgrade to 10.2 or .3. Just go to the latest one. Which is 10.4

thanks

I would like to add if you are upgrading from 10.1 you need to choose full install

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Thank you Patchworkkid and Dsaw. Will I have to reinstall my modules if I update to 10.4 or will they still be there? Thanks

No you will not have to install all your Modules

if you have premium Modules you may be asked for the code

Hi Rickey,

I'm a great believer in doing regular upgrades of software, and that includes e-Sword. By doing that, you actually are staying up to speed on the latest improvements and new additions that a placed in the program. And just because the interface remains the same does not indicate or mean no improvements have made and/or something new hasn't been put in.

When Rick Meyers puts out a new version ( a new build) of e-Sword, he gives the information of the improvements and added extras that he has placed in. These you can always read on his website on the download page.

For more information in answer to your question, I recommend you reading my blog, "When Should I Upgrade e-Sword." I think you just might find this helpful to you. Just click on the link below.
