I have tried using the module installer to install the pdf Guide file. It seems to ignore the new Guide. I have tried inserting the new guide into the e-Sword file on my computer and I end up with both the old 10.2.1 guide and the new one in the file. When I do that, the computer requires that I re-install e-Sword and go through a re-boot. After that the old 10.2.1 file comes up in Help. What am I doing wrong? I have installed a new Module Installer. I am using Windows 7 and Firefox. Help.

The e-Sword module installer installs e-Sword modules. The PDF guide isn't an e-Sword module, so the module installer doesn't do anything with it.

 

e-Sword 10.4  comes with the 10.4 guide, so no action is required.

Thank you. I had only installed the upgrade. That left me with the guide for e-Sword 10.2.1. After your advice, I uninstalled my old e-Sword and downloaded a completely new e-Sword program. Now it has the 10.4 guide as you said.

Neither did I. I think that is something that's going to have to be fixed
