Hey there,

I am carefully following the directions of the ToolTip NT.pdf, but when I attempt to save a sample to .bblx, it shows me this error (see attached image).  Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is?  Is it related to the foreign language?

Thanks,

Jeremy B.

Hi

it need to be in English
÷John 1:1 text
because e-Sword only reads English as books of the Bible.
Example look at foreign bibles.

Thanks

The book name only needs to be in English if you are using the default book abbreviation list.  You can add your own abbreviation to the list, but you first need to create a list external to the program.   To do this,

1) click Scripture + Abbreviation List + Copy Internal List to External.

2) Give the new abbreviation list a name and click Save

3) Select this new abbreviation list by clicking  Scripture + Abbreviation List + Select External List.

4) When asked if you want to use this list, click Yes.

5) Now edit the list to add your abbreviations by clicking Scripture + Abbreviation List + Edit External List

6) To add "3 Yoh" to the list, scroll down or using the Find function to 64-3 JOHN.

7) Add a new line  64-3 YOH.  Be sure to use all caps.

8) Click OK  The abbreviation count (lower right hand corner) should increase by 1 for each new line you add

The program is now ready to use the new abbreviation / book name.

See the Tooltip Tool NT User's Guide starting on page 93.
