I downloaded a few dictionaries that were only available as .exe files and not .dctx modules and tried to install them.  They did install but I cannot find them in esword or anywhere else on my computer for that matter.

Where the dictionaries are installed on your Hard drive are:

• If running Windows 7 or 8x - C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword
• If running Windows XP - C:\Program Files\e-Sword

Where either refx, topx, notx files are stored, they are in:

• For Windows XP - My Documents\e-Sword
• For Windows (maybe version 7) 8x - This PC\Documents\e-Sword

Where files have an exe extension, they are installer files, and they will install the dictionary (dctx) to the default e-Sword folder dependent on the version you are using. See above where the default folders are.
