Good morning everyone.

So I have been working on a new Bible module, and just finished the Torah (Gen. thru Deu.) over the weekend. When I try to open it back up to start on Joshua, I get an odd error message: "Error in text filter: Unknown format. (1-1d01)."

Any ideas as to why this happens? Not only does it give the error, but it opens a blank doc, not the portion of the module (Gen - Deu) that I have already completed.

Any help is appreciated. I attached a screenshot of the message. Thank you for your time.

This is an RTF file?

Make a backup of the file. Then open a copy in MS-Word or Wordpad. Make a change. Save it. Then open it in ToolTip.

Common causes: hyperlinks (usually something malformed) or broken images.

In Microsoft Word, you can select all text and press CTRL-SHIFT-F9 to remove all hyperlinks. A Bible should have no hyperlinks anyway.

There's nothing there. No text at all. Even if I open it in another program, still blank. Save a backup of it, open the backup, blank.

I have experienced the error before. But when I opened the file in MS-Word, it opened fine. I hope you did not save the file after receiving the error in ToolTip. That would account for the data loss.

If you want to send me the file, I can take a look at it (josh@biblesupport.com). It sounds like the data is lost.

I didn't save it afterwards, so I don't know why it did that.

That's what I was afraid of. Really, the only loss is Deu. and half of Num. as I had saved Gen. thru half of Num. separately, and it opens fine. Oh well. Minor setback. Being a programmer, I should know better than to not save it as often.

Thank you for your time.
