It is confusing to anyone new to the tool to call it T4. It is actually "e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT" and is at version 2.30. http://www.biblesupp...ooltip-tool-nt/

If the format [book]/chapter:verse is not working, I suggest to format as below, and use the corresponding menu item to build it.

÷Gen 1:1 In den beginne schiep God de hemel en de aarde.
Gen 1:2 De aarde nu was woest en ledig, en duisternis lag op de vloed, en de Geest Gods zweefde over de wateren.

Thanks Jon,

T4-problem solved....

The format you suggest gives an error message in 3.50

But, as I said, for me the problem is solved although the ToolTip Tool NT only does part of the job.

Patchworkid,

You are wrong. I have downloaded it and used it.

It produces even perfect bblx-files from any other format.

Someone has deleted my message.

That is not very nice.

It contained no offensive material.

Over and out.

To create a Bible file using the [book]/chapter:verse setting, you have to do the following:

put a ÷ before [Genesis].  This is the only time you will use a ÷ in the entire document.  You will need to make your document look like this:

÷[Genesis]

1:1 In the beginning...

1:2 second verse

1:3 third verse, etcetera...

[Exodus]

1:1 first verse

1:2 second verse

1:3 third verse, etcetera

[Leviticus]

1:1 first verse

and so on.

The / in [book]/chapter:verse stands for a new paragraph (or hitting "enter").  It doesn't mean to insert a / before the chapter and verse.

I personally find it easier to work with and find my place when I use the other Bible option of book chapter:verse, which is formatted as follows:

÷Gen 1:1 First verse

Gen 1:2 Second verse

Gen 1:3 Third verse

and so on.  In this version, you still only use the ÷ once in the entire document, and that's before Genesis 1:1.

I don't know if this helps or not, but it's some of the knowledge I've accumulated in my few years of building Bible modules.

-Brad
