I recently had a persistent Malware problem, so had to run a recovery on my harddrive. Before I did this, I backed everythign up, even ESword. I placed all my files on an external hard disk drive, and then pocceeded to run the Recovery programme.

Well, after the clean install and resetting systems, I decided ot put things back on my Comoputer, starging with ESword. Well, the firts thing I noticed was that I coudl not get it to work in My Programmes. No problems, I just reloaded ESword from the site, and then cut and apsted the Files into the new folder. Now here is where it becoems complicated and strange.

Afgrer dign this, I discovered that many of the Bible Modules I had before now shwo up again, liek the KJVA module, or Kign James Verison with Apocrypha, but others, like the Darby Bible, or the American Standard version did not.

So it appears that soem of the modules I loaded before were saved in the ESword folder,a nd others werenot, and I had to reload them.

I then looked into my ESword Folder to resave them after reloadign them, only to not be able to find them!

So, why are soem of my modules foudn in my ESword folder and others not? And where exactly are they located on my Drive?

How can I create a system backupp for my ESword?

If your computer is running Windows, your e-Sword folder should probably be:

C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

It's usually a problem to Zip that folder because it's too large. I use WinRAR to RAR it into a single file that I place on a DVD. That works just fine as a complete backup of all my resource files, but you always have to install e-Sword again first if you have a problem. I hope this helps.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
