At some point during the last few updates my install of e-Sword has ceased displaying the verse popup when I mouse over a Scripture reference in a commentary. Is this intended or have I somehow turned off that option? I searched e-Sword for relevant options to re-enable this but could find none.  Thank you for any help someone might offer.

By the Options menu "Scripture Tooltip" choice "active translation" or a Bible.

Don't use "NT only" Bibles for the Old Testament or "OT only" Bibles for the New Testament.

I have no NT or OT only Bibles.

 

Tooltip Translation setting, for both OT and NT, are set to the same version, NASB.  When the Tooltip Translation setting is changed to "active translation" there is no difference.  The issue remains either way, no mouse over verse pop-up in any of the commentaries.

 

This occurred during one of the last few eSword updates. Prior to that it worked fine.

Do you have the "Display Scripture ToolTips" checked in the Options menu?
