Hi,

I´ve been privileged to use e-sword for the last 10 years or so, now I want to help make something available on e-sword. I have begun making a module Bible from the oldest Icelandic translation (1584) called Guðbrandsbiblía (based on the 1540 NT by Oddur Gottskálksson). I know the market for this is tiny - but it really helps to be able to compare different Icelandic translations.

I´m completely new at this, but the ToolTip NT-2.10.pdf has been a great help, although there are various questions. I'm only a few chapters in, but I'm hitting small complications.

1) This translation uses quotation marks "quite a bit". When I copy the verses as a block in e-sword (which I do a lot), there is no space between verses that end on a quotation marks. Does anybody know what I'm talking about, and how to fix this?

Thanks,

Stefán Rafn

Taking a wild guess

if you are using copy verses beside the verse window are numbers click on the numbers to get the formatting you want

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
