I have several RTF files that I did page setup in landscape orientation. When I open them in Tooltip the text is not aligned as it is when I just open the RTF in word processing program. Am I missing something that would enable tooltip to see rtf in landscape mode, with text aligned as in original file? Thanks for any feedback.

Strange because landscape orientation or HTM Layout is the default in Tooltip.

In the bar of the tab-positions is there a black triangle on the right side; move it more to the right.

Or press Ctrl+a and move the black triangle to the right.

If that not works than must you look to Format/ Paragraph /Frame and page breaks

I do see in tooltip page setup that default is landscape. Rtf opens and black triangle is at 10.5 on the tab bar. Won't move any further to the right, but can move to the left. I played around in Format/ Paragraph /Frame and page breaks as you suggested, and nothing. Thnak you.

DSaw,

Appreciate your help. No I'm not making a topx,  just a document for my tablet. I like saving document as html for my ereader. Often looks better and cleaner than what I might make as an epub. Plus I can tweak it with formats that won't translate well into epub.  I've never delved into the nuances of the word processor (still using Word97, was able to force Win7 to recognize it),  just used it to make printable documents.

Downloaded LibreOffice a few weeks ago, guess it's about time I move into the 21st Century. Again thanks for giving things a look over.

The problem is the number of tabs.  The underlying Text Control allows for 14 tabs per paragraph.   It would be much better to have one tab per column of data.
