Hi all, I have the ESV bible module installed in e-sword. I want to edit it using the ToolTip tool, but I can't find the .bblx file for the ESV module. Does anyone know where the file is located?

It is located together with the other modules.:

the default for Windows is.

C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

or

C:\Program Files)\e-Sword

 

The ESV Bible is copyrighted in 2001,2007 and 2011

If you want to edit a Bible translation then is it better to take a Public Domain Bible or one that the copyright is expired.

Editing of a Bible translation is not a game; you are responsible for the quality and it is mentally very hard to make it perfect and dangerous if the changes are doctrine related.

Yes, that is where the .bblx files are normally located, but in this case I can't find the ESV file there. I don't know if it is renamed or put in another directory. I'm aware of copyright restrictions. Any changes made would be for my own personal use and would not be distributed to others. 

 

EDIT: I found what I was looking for under the \VirtualStore directory.
