I am new to e-Sword and was playing around with expanding windows, primarily using the tack and Windows Expand.

Selecting Show All Windows, did not work.

Found Reset e-Sword Settings.

This cleared up my problem.

What should I have done to do this manually?

Thank You; Phil in the San Diego area

When you are in the display all windows mode you CAN display all or any combination of the windows at the same time.  What ever you have "pinned" is what will be displayed.

For example I generally have both the Bible and Commentary windows "pinned" and switch to Dictionary Maximized to read definitions.  Then back to Display All (which has only the Bible and Commentaries windows "pinned").

"Display all pinned" would be a more correct designation I suppose, but it allows maximum customization for the displays.

Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, (Jeremiah 9:23-24a)

"Defenders of the faith are inclined to be bitter until they learn to walk in the light of the Lord. When you have learned to walk in the light of the Lord, bitterness and contention are impossible." --Oswald Chambers, in Biblical Psychology from The Quotable Oswald Chambers.

Hi Tim,

For the new bees... can you show images of what you are talking about. And tell them where to look in the Manuel.

I set e-Sword the same way,

thanks

I did the same. I clicked the push pins. I couldn't get it to go back so what I did was click help and reset settings. It worked for me but if you have other settings set then it would probably reset those too.
