Greetings all,

What function do you use in Tooltip to cause a Dictionary reference like this (see attached) to link to another entry?

In other words, I'm building a Dictionary module of my own with 10,000 words.  If I want one entry (e.g. "A4632") to link to another entry (e.g. "A 1235") how do I get it to do that when building the module?

Thank you.

Your example shows H2946. When you hover over that, the definition for H2946 will show. With that in mind, can you clarify what you are asking?

H123 can only link to H123.

H123 cannot link to H321.

A word, or group of words, cannot link to a strongs number or verse reference

In e-Sword, there's not a real "link" at all. e-Sword looks for combinations of characters and then automatically links content. For example, H123 will show the tooltip for the H123 definition even if H123 is not underlined/colored. The same holds true for verse references like Joh_3:16. That will always link to the John 3:16 text--you cannot cause the Joh_3:16 reference to show another verse text.

Please let me clarify.  (See this new attached image).  Now does my question make sense?

The best e-Sword can do in that example is to: 1) Right click the word you want to lookup and 2) Choose Lookup.

Beautiful.  That's exactly what I needed.  Thanks so much.
