No need for you to do anything else, Jonathan. Those who want your module on their ipads should be able to download it 'as is' to their computers and install it into their e-sword software. Then, they can convert it to a .bbli file using the conversion utility and install it on their ipads using file sharing.

Josh, now I am confused! I did not know that there are files that are already formatted for e-sword HD ready to be downloaded and not needing conversion. Or does "the same file listing" indicate something else?We have been putting e-Sword HD modules in the same file listing as e-Sword modules.

I believe Josh is saying that the conversion and movement to the iPad is currently handled by the iPad user, not automated within the software as is done on the desktop ESword. I have already done the conversion to iPad format saving iPad users that step or confusion over the process and will upload that file later today.
I am curious if the "i" format is working on simplifying their install process to automate it from within the program like the desktop version does.
MySword has installation from within their program but I don't believe they link to the resources here on this site.

ESword offers a painless conversion utility that turns desktop ESword bibles to iPad formats. Once downloaded it is placed in the desktop ESword directory which, for some, is confusing because they don't expect it there. Once run it painlessly converts the bible file to iPad format and that converted file can be moved to iPads by users. I took the step of doing the conversion to iPad to simplify it and will upload it to my area. I understand iPad formats can also be compiled in the ToolTip tool.

Thanks, Jonathan, for your explanation. I have been oblivious to the fact that some who are making modules are also converting them to ios format and uploading them. Where to find them, at this point, I don't know. I will look for your's later. Thanks!

Brent made a few e-Sword HD modules and uploaded them in the e-Sword file listing. I haven't given this much thought because users did not have a way of installing e-Sword HD content.
Now that this has changed, I guess I could make an e-Sword HD section. I didn't see a need to at first, but you make a good point--how will anyone know if a file listing has an HD module without going all the way to the download screen.
Uploads to those sections will probably be slow, at least for my participation. I'm not sure when I would get around to converting my previous modules. Perhaps others will be interested, though.

I tried uploading a .bbli file which was made by the ESword conversion utility to have someone test to make sure it displayed properly but the forum said I did not have permissions to upload that type of file. Given Josh's response, should I wait until a iPad section is set up on this forum?

No, just zip the module first, and then upload it to the forums. The forums are picky about what file extensions are uploaded.
