I recently updated to the newer version of Esword 10.2 and am having difficulties with the macros for MS Word2010. I can't seem to search or copy and paste Scripture references. Does anyone know of anything or any causes as to why? I've gotten so comfortable with that being there it's almost as if studying is ruined

I'm using MSWord 2010 at my office and cannot get the esword macros to work at all.  At home I use them in MSWord 2007 all the time very successfully.

 

Word 2010 is a standard version 14 running on 64bit.

 

I've tried re-loading everything and tried several settings in the Word Options, all to no avail.

 

Anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it?

You might redownload and reinstall the macro.

I've tried uninstall and re-install both esword and the macros - still will not work. The icons do not show up in the Word toolbar. The macros are listed in the Word macro list, but when I click 'Run' on any of them, nothing happens. Very frustrating.

I'm guessing it is some setting in Word, but need help to find what it is.

First, make sure that you have the latest version of e-Sword installed - 10.3.0. e-Sword 10.2 had some bugs. Second, make sure that you have the latest version of the macros - and for the right version of Word. The macros were updated 5-2014. Other than this, I don't know what to tell you except that I hope this helps.
