See chapter 13 of the manual.

You can download the manual from the link at the bottom of the web page.

the refx and tpox files must in

C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

or

C:\Program Files\e-Sword

Start e-Sword.

Right of the B C D E is there a book icon.

They are in the E sword part but they will not open it keeps asking what app to open this topx file and then it opens esword but still won't open the file

There is a tab on left edge of E-sword labeled "Editors" when you click that tab a window opens with three tabs giving you access to three different types of editors one for "Journal Notes", one for "Study Notes" and one for "Topic Notes" which are the topx files. When you click the "Topic Notes" tab there is a drop down menu at the bottom which will display all of the topx files installed in E-Sword.

You need to make sure the topx files are in the main e-sword folder in your "Programs" folder in order for the "Topic Notes" editor to find them
