Greetings,
Using the download Bible feature within eSword, I downloaded two versions of the Septuagint
lxx.bblx
and:
lxx+.bblx
They show up in my esword folder along with my other Bibles, so I restart eSword, but... I never see a tab for these Bibles!
If I try to download them again, the download page tells me they are already installed, which makes sense because I can see the .bblx files on my computer.
By the way, since I can't read Greek, I am hoping this bblx+ is an English translation of the Septuagint (which of course is the Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament).
I'm also hoping it will work just like the standard, built-in KJV+ so I can search on English words, hover over those words with the mouse and see a tiny popup window displaying the Strongs number and definition for the Greek word used there (and even do a quick search for that Greek word). That would be ideal.
If the lxx+ doesn't provide these features then I should look for some other solution to search the Septuagint in English, then examine the Strong's definitions of the underlying Greek.
Since I'm new here I looked through all 21 pages of posts before posting this, and I didn't see any posts regarding this type of problem. Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help.
All the best,
inspiralight
