Here is the error I get out of the script when running it.

Generating New American Standard Bible module for MySword...
Genesis: 1 Did not receive correct text for http://www.biblica.c...1&version=nasb. Quitting

I'm not sure what is wrong with the script. When copy and pasting the web address above into a web browser it goes to Genesis 1.

The website changed so the script no longer works. I'm a little short on time right now, so I can't make any promises but I'll try to work on it as soon as I can. I fixed the error you mentioned but that wasn't sufficient. The module that gets created then has no verses in it.

Regards,

Rob

Thanks for looking into it! I appreciate it. I'm in no hurry.

Android users are willing to wait for the time that those mentioned bibles would be freely distributed as mysword bible modules.

Atheist Rob seems to sound like "a theist job."
Don't you agree?

You gotta give Rob his dues. Personally I really don't care that he is an atheist, and I don't hold it against him. Whatever reason he has in regard to being a member of this community tends to show this bloke is on a hunt of one sort or another, and what he is hunting for will come to him in perhaps more ways than one, and even perhaps in ways that he may even least expect it.

With that said, of the service he provides and the help he gives makes him really worth his weight in gold.

I just praise God he doesn't weigh too much so that we don't have to fork out a lot of gold. Uh-uh.gif These jokes are really getting worse with every moment.

On a serioius note, his willingess to help makes this bloke someone really great to be around with.

Blessings,

P.S. I know this has been one big bunny trail, but hey! Bunny trails are a bit of good fun to go down on providing one get back on the main track.

There is a site (opensong) that has most of these as Zefania modules. But needs a bit of work for it to be processed by The Sword importer. then it can be converted from the Sword module to mysword

EDIT: there is also the Church Software site that has these as Zefania modules

Hello,

Your script is amazing! Thank you! Couldn't you write a general script for www.biblegateway.com? There is lot of version. Or if I want to be honest I particularly interested in Hungarian Bible: Easy-to-Read Version which is avaiable nowhere else.

thank you

Done.  :)
