Harmony Files
To create a Harmony file with e-ToolTipTool (T3) v3.04, you need to enter the following definitions at the beginning of your file.
#def description=This is My Harmony File.
#def abbreviation=MHF
#def comments=
#def version=1
If this does not help ask BH. He will help you more than I can.
thanks

That's a good question. Brent will have to answer it. How do you specify which verses are shown together in the harmony? In ToolTip, you specify verses with the marker (÷) but I'm not sure how you control which verses are shown together...Hi
What are the codes and format to prepare a harmony module in T3?
Thanks!

e-Sword ToolTip Tool v3.04 is now available. v3.00 contained a new scripture tooltipping algorithm which will tooltip chapters or multiple chapters. v3.04 now adds the ability to create Harmony files (HARX) and has a Commentary (CMTX) fill-in tool.
Harmony Files
To create a Harmony file with e-ToolTipTool (T3) v3.04, you need to enter the following definitions at the beginning of your file.
#def description=This is My Harmony File.
#def abbreviation=MHF
#def comments=
#def version=1
Comments do not appear to be displayed by e-Sword at this time. The Abbreviation is what will appear as a tab in the Harmony Window openned when you click the Harmony menu under Bibles in e-Sword. The description will appear as a tooltip when you mouse over that Harmony tab.
After setting up definitions, you then make topic entries and "mark" them using the T3 mark menu. Scripture references are then entered, up to 4 on a line. The specification of a scripture reference that e-Sword will accept is not published, but by testing, it appears to accept references that up to one comma, such as "John 3:16, 17", one dash, "Exodus 20:8-11", or two dashes and one comma, "John 3:16-17, 20-23". T3 will automatically remove any extraneous spaces and will set the Bible book name to the accepted e-Sword value based on the current T3 Abbreviation definitions. Reference on a single line are separated by a semi-colon. "Exodus 20:8-11; Deut. 5:12-15"

Your welcome, looking forward to the results.
Hi Scribe
I have used the procedure you described, and it worked fine.
Besides, if you are using e-Sword with an interface in different language than English, it will accept the abbreviations of that language.
I have only one problem because my file is in Spanish, and Tooltip Tool makes weird things with the special characters of Spanish. But that is a different question.
Thanks!

I see in another post that the developer seems to be limited by the tools he works with. Hope you'll be able to find a solution.

Also, the ÷ mark is needed only once at the beginning of the text. I was using it for every book, but that's not OK.
Please use two or three books, such as:
Gen.
Gen. chapter 1
1;1
1:2
etc...
Gen. chapter 2
1:1
1:2
etc...
Ex.
Ex. chapter 1
1:1
1:2
etc...

Here are the T3 codes to build a .harx file:
These should be at the very top of the file:
#def description=This text will be the mouse flyover when moused over the harmony tab
#def abbreviation=This will be the tab name
#def comments=This information is not displayed; it is exclusively for the builder. This section may include hard returns and be as long as necessary.
#def version=This information is not displayed; it is exclusively for the builder, and should be an integer (1, 2, etc.), and no decimals.
Here is how each individual .harx entry should look:
This format displays two boxes on top of each other.
÷The Descendants of Noah's Sons.
1Ch_1:5-23.
Gen_10:1-32.
This format displays three columns side by side by side.
÷Three Accounts of the Descendants of Caleb.
1Ch_2:18-20; 1Ch_2:42-49; 1Ch_2:50-55.
This format displays boxes on top of each other and side by side.
÷The Line of Aaron.
1Ch_6:1-15; 1Ch_6:49-53.
Gen_46:11; 1Ch_6:1.
eSword's .harx feature will display up to 4 columns wide; I'm not sure how many boxes up and down are available. I know that it will do at least 6, because this entry worked in my .harx:
÷David's Hymn of Praise.
1Ch_16:4-36.
Psa_105:1-15; 1Ch_16:8-22.
Psa_96:1-13; 1Ch_16:23-33.
Psa_106:1; Psa_107:1; Psa_118:1; 1Ch_16:34.
Psa_136:1; 1Ch_16:34.
Psa_106:47-48; 1Ch_36:35-36.
I built this harmony (scroll down near the bottom of the page) using these codes. These are real entries (with simplified text) so BibSuppers could see real world examples of how it works. Make sure you share you .harx files when they're built!

÷[Gen] The First Book of Moses: Called Genesis
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters.
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
New to this release is a new BBLX format, "book chapter:verse" Example:

#define description=XXX
#define comments=XXX
#define font=DEFAULT
#define ot=1
#define nt=1
#define apocrypha=0
