  Shalom to all,

Would there be any way for e-Sword to sync with the database of www.dukhrana.com ?  The reason I'm asking is because it has a complete grammatical analysis of every word in the Aramaic Peshitta New Testament based on George Kiraz' superb database called SEDRA (Syriac Electronic Data Retrieval Archive). Aramaic-to-English translations include James Murdock, John Wesley Etheridge, and George Lamsa. Clickable links include William Jennings Syriac Dictionary, Payne-Smith's Compendious Syriac Dictionary and most recently links to the entries at the Comprehensive Aramaic Lexicon (courtesy of Hebrew Union College and the Jewish Institute of Religion). The pages of a very ancient doeskin codex are viewable (the Khabouris Codex). The Yonan Codex is considerably more ancient but you would have to go to the Scriptorium section of The Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Florida to view it. :-(  Unfortunately www.dukhrana.com is temporarily down for repairs. Lars Lindgren and Stephen Silver are the proprietors. I believe Lars has great skill when it comes to widgets, etc. :-)

  Sincerely, Bro. Larry Kelsey

Our Peshitta Interlinear module with Plain English translation from AramaicNT.com with lexicon uses Sedra 3 and also links to both Dukhrana and the CAL database at Hebrew Union College.

Shlama,

Tim.
