I have the module installer but have not used it.

When I dl a .mapx     the popup to save it offers,   Open With: eS_map (default)

When I dl a cmtx     the popup to save it offers    Open With: eS_Commentary (default)

Are these what I select to use the installer program?

Does it work with other extensions like .exe and zip?  They do not show an option in the popup.

Thank you

hi

you will have to unzip the file and click on the module file.  The exe file will direct you to where you want it to unzip to.

please read these link carefully trying it out.

Everything below assumes you are running Windows (and not Mac or Linux). It's also assumed you have installed the Module Installer.

Exe files install themselves. You can select Open or Run (or possibly double click the file) to start the installation.

The popup you describe is probably your Internet Explorer browser. You should be able to select Open and after the download completes the Module Installer takes over (if you have it installed)

Zip files: Select Open or Run (or possibly double click the zip file). This opens the zip file. If you double click the module inside the zip file, the Module Installer takes over (if you have it installed).
