Hi there,

I'm a new user of esword and am wanting to edit a journal.jnlx file.

The journal file doesn't contain verse links that I can click on to go the correct passage in the bible.

I have downloaded the tooltip tool but don't see an easy way to import the journal.jnlx file.

I would appreciate any advice to get me started.

My thanks,

Mike

Why not just use the e-Sword editor to edit the journal file? You can tooltip scriptures one at a time in that editor (tedious if you have more than a few). But you could copy the text from the journal, paste into ToolTip NT, tooltip in ToolTip NT, and then copy back to the e-Sword editor. That would work nicely if you don't have hundreds of entries...

Hmm.. the journal file is actually a bible reading plan so there is a lot (hundreds) of entries. So this way may not work the best. Thanks

ToolTip NT will generate a Bible Reading Plan module, which uses the Tools > Bible Reading feature in e-Sword.

That might be the best route...
