Roger....

Lets see if we can find the sermons in the E-sword Program itself first. Open e_sword....at the top on the tool bar you'll find some icons (probably 7 of them). The one furthest on the right will be the one you want....it opens your

"Reference Library"....the icon resembles 3 small books. Click on it and your Ref.Lib will open as a floating page. It will say "Reference Library" in the upper left hand corner of the page. In the middle of the tool bar there will be a long narrow box (slot) with a black arrow at the far right end of the box. Click on that black arrow....there will be a list of the books you have in your Ref.Lib.....your 3000 Sermons should be there. If they aren't...we'll try something new....let us know how it goes !

If all else fails, simply do a search on your C: drive typing in *.topx in your Windows Explorer search function. It will show you exactly where your Topic Note files are.

Usually they are stored either (or both) in C:\Program Files\e-Sword (or in Win 7 an 8, C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword) and/or in My Documents\e-Sword or similar in Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.

Once you've found your resources, you configure e-Sword to open the files at the folder where the information is stored.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

 Hi Roger,

Here is something I just don't understand or get:

  1. If running a resource installer program, it tells you where your files are going to be installed
  2. If using  Josh Bond's e-Sword Module Installer, it also tells you where your files are going to be installed.

Do you take notice of where they are being installed, or do you just flick through by clicking on the "next" button and not notice where they are being installed?

Interestingly too, third party Topic Note (topx) files can be seen at the bottom of your Topic Note Editor in the Dropdown ComboBox.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).
