I would really appreciate if someone could create a eSword module of the World English Bible British Edition (WEBBE) http://worldenglishbible.org/webbe/ .

I want to use this copyright free version for all our scripture lists and other amassed material we publish for free on the WEB etc.

(ESword is my preferred bible software).

The World English Bible British Edition is the same as the World English Bible, except God's Proper Name in the Old Testament is translated "LORD" or "GOD" (all capitals) instead of "Yahweh", and British spelling is used for all other words.

Regards,

I'll work on this.  Give me about two weeks, and I should have it ready.  Lots of projects, but I don't think this should be too difficult.

Thanks Bradley, your offer will be a great help... being able to use this copyright free WEBBE Bible with eSword will be a real boast for the ministry.

I don't think people are really aware of how much copyright can negatively impact the spreading of the gospel.

I see that Mysword for android have made WEB modules.

God bless you.

I communicated with Bradley, to let me try taking the OSIS XML file for the WEBBE and build a BBLX file.  The first draft of it is here:

https://dl.dropboxus...72998/WEBBE.zip

do note, that the notes have not been included with the version, just the Bible text in included.

Hi BH,

The bible looks good... will you include the footnotes in it or as a commentary?  Because the footnotes enhances the bible.

thanks a lot for making this module.

I hope that Rick Meyers can filter the non-breakable space in search and history mode, and gives access to colours in the next update of e-Sword HD and LT.

hi scripturepromises.com

would you have wanted the foot notes added that would be different than a basic bible?

Those notes seem good to have.

thanks
