Hi,

I'm a missionary in Taiwan and would appreciate so much if you had the PinYin BIble. "PinYin" is the romanized pronunciation system used to help non-native speakers of Chinese to read Chinese. PinYIn is open source. It would be very helpful for missionaries working in Mandarin speaking countries.

Thank you!

Daniel

Do you have a place where the text can be downloaded?

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

you have just taught me a lesson

Never assume that someone searched this site first before requesting a module

unless the module you found and the text I found are not what the OP wanted but that,s not likley

I'm sorry about that. I was looking at the available downloads on my i-pad e-sword. I was so excited to see that the Bible in both simplified and traditional Chinese had become available recently, but there was no pinyin. I use my i-pad to read the Bible instead of the PC version of e-sword.

Again, thank you so much for pointing out the place to download Pinyin. I'm very grateful  I just wanted to add one more thing. I just looked in the "Module Downloader" in the PC version and looked under Chinese, but I did not see pinyin. I might have also looked there before and had not seen it. Again, thank you for your help.

for clarification

the down-loader in esword only downloads official esword modules

this site has so much more and will not show in the esword downloader  you have to search or browse this site from what ever internet browser you have to find them

then go through the download process through you browser

this is for the PC

I just uploaded the pinyin.bbli version for anyone who is looking for that Bible version for their Mac, iPad or iPhone.  I converted the .bblx file that user Savio uploaded to this site.  Once you download the file, in e-Sword, simply File/Resources/Import to select the file to load.  To load the file on your iPad or iPhone, connect your device to iTunes, click on your device icon, then the "File Sharing" menu item on the left, select "e-Sword." Then from the Finder window that has your .bbli file, simply drag it into the iTunes list of documents to sync with e-Sword.  On your device, close out e-Sword, reopen it, and your file will now be in your list of Bibles.
