These books are free for a few days.  I read the "Days of Peleg" a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.  I have not read the "Days of Lamech" yet, but I look forward to it.

These are fiction books that combine the Biblical story, with ancient near east literature.

I really loved the fictional conversation between Shem and Peleg.  This was a great read.

How was humanity dealing with the memory of the flood and the confusion of languages?  Why are life spans getting shorter?

About The Days of Peleg

Set in ancient Mesopotamia, The Days of Peleg is an action-filled, yet thought provoking epic which combines the enigmas and mythologies of ancient civilizations with the intrigue of hard science fiction. Issues as diverse as origins, linguistics, and phenomenology are concealed within an exciting narrative that boasts diverse characters embarked on an unimaginable journey.

You will never think of ancient man in the same way again.

The Days of Peleg provides an exhilarating yet entertaining look at who we once were—and who we may one day become.

Fascinating, Peter. We have similar tastes.

For those that don't now, you can read Kindle books on the PC by installing Kindle software. You need not have a physical kindle device.
