I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. When I reinstalled e-Sword The Message Bible tab doesn't show.

I have redownloaded and reinstalled both e-Sword and msg.bblx and had my registration key resent but it makes no difference.

So far Rick hasn't been able to solve the problem.

The msg.bblx installs a works correctly on my wife's PC which is configured the same as mine.  It also works on my Netbook which runs Wndows 7 Starter.

What sort of problem on my PC could cause this to happen.

I'm praying that the Lord gives you wisdom in responding to my request.

Blessings,

Ken Russell

Try renaming the message bible's tab name using this app: http://www.biblesupp...rd-tab-renamer/

Let me know if that makes a difference.

Hi Josh,

The Tab Renamer doesn't run after I enter the Current descrtiption and Name.  I click on Update and nothing happens - no Close button appears.

I even tried it on a module that had a tab in e-Sword - same result.

Help....

Ken

The Tab renamer doesn't issue a confirmation. It just makes the change and that's it.

Doesn't the Tab Renamer depend upon there being a tab to change?  In my case the Message tab dosen't exist despite the msg.bblx file being in the right place.

The tab Renamer is a separate program from e sword.  You have to run it and rename the tab and then open e sword again.

Just a thought, did you check under Options>Resource in e-Sword to make sure MSG appears in the list under Bibles and is checked so it will appear?

I understand that.  But as the MSG tab doesn't exist how can it be renamed?

That was one of the first things I did, but the MSG doesn't show up anywhere in e-Sword
