Hello, had anybody tried tweaking the MySword look via CSS? If yes, I'd like to see it! Attached are some Screenshots, an the CSS file (Eigenes Dunkel.txt). If you want to use the theme you have to download the css file, move it to your phone, open the file with any text editor and copy the content. Then start MySword, go to Preferences -> Color Theme -> Copy -> give your theme a name -> select your new theme -> css -> delete the whole content -> paste the content of the css file you copied in the first step -> Save/Exit -> Select -> OK and you're done.

Edit (January 2018): Uploaded new pictures and updated txt-file as attachements, added German language file (see Post #13 for details)

You can also do this within MySword by copying an existing theme and then editing it from within the program under preferences/ color theme...

I think you need to have at least premium features to do this.

Thank you for sharing. I am using this theme now :)  Does anyone else have a custom theme willing to share?  I have no idea how to write CSS... but I can copy & paste ;)

Thanks

@4GIVON: You are welcome! I've updated the css file, because there was something changed with the appearance of the "Prev, Go to top and Next"-links (see second Screenshot) in the latest update of MySword.

@All: If you want to use the theme you have to download the css file, move it to your phone, open the file with any text editor and copy the content.

Then start MySword, go to Preferences -> Color Theme -> Copy -> give your theme a name -> select your new theme -> css -> delete the whole content -> paste the content of the css file you copied in the first step -> Save/Exit -> Select -> OK and you're done.

Edit: Fixed the Link

Here is my theme:

And here is the CSS file.

I know this post is very old, however, I wanted to at least say thank you to Lux.  I used the top portion of your CSS theme to go along with my theme that I had already customized.  I used your heading, centering, font, and dotted borders.  The h1 heading along with the dotted border does make for a very classy view as someone pointed out.

I changed the spacing back to 110% because at 170% it stretched my Tag boxes.

This post really is old but I'm still using MySword and lately updated the css a bit.

If you want to use it you have to edit the font (search for font-family in the css file). I use the font "Verlag" for titles, but afaik you can use any font you like as soon as you copy it into the mysword/fonts folder. Or you stick to a font that already exists in this folder.

What I would like to know is the class name for the links "prev." and "next" at the top in parallel mode. As for now I simply reformatted all a-tags, but that's not very elegant. I already wrote an email to the technical support but didn't get an anwer so far. I'll update this post if I get any.

Here is the Link to the updated CSS: https://www.dropbox....Dunkel.txt?dl=0 (Jan. 2016)

Edit: See attached pictures of Post #1 for screenshots. Fixed Link.

And here's the CSS you want...
  • Just extract the blur2.jpg to the path: MySword/my data/blur2.jpg
  • Next, copy the CSS from text and paste it into CSS of MySword...
  • Save, restart MySword... You're good to go...
  • Reply if you like this. God bless
