I have downloaded the module installer and used it successfully once. Second time I tried to download a module I was asked for a complete path where to put it!! I have no idea!! What might be the problem?

At some point, did you click Help > Reset e-Sword Settings?

If so:

1) Click Options from the main menu. Then click Resources.

2) Note the Location field at the bottom of screen. Click the tan folder icon.

3) In the window that pops up, click OK.

4) Click OK again to close the Resources window.

The above steps only apply if you clicked Help > Reset e-Sword settings.

Thanks so much ... all is well!! Successfully downloaded!!
I guess I didn't phrase my question very well. I downloaded ok but then couldn't get the downloaded file to go to into e sword.
Just one other basic question ... pardon my lack of computer expertise ... when downloading these modules, I often get the question ... open or save ... and of course under the save tab is open and save. Which of the three is the correct approach?

In your web browser, if you click OPEN, the file will immediately begin the installation process. (It will also be saved, but it will open immediately after the download).

If you click SAVE, the file will be saved on your computer. You will then have to find and manually open (click on) the file to launch the module installer.

Open is faster and more direct.
