I'm sorry, the page finally populated (if that's the right word) and it should be downloading now.

Ok, it's now installed and available. Thanks for letting me blather.

There is one thing I can do. I assumed e-Sword HD users would mostly be interested in commentaries and dictionaries. But if there's a specific Topic or Reference Library file you would like converted to e-Sword HD format, I can convert and submit the file to Rick for inclusion in e-Sword HD.Post the links to any Topic or Reference Library files below.

I am interrested in "One day at a time" by William McDonald...I purchased the Ipad HD version specific for devotions...Thanks!

There's another iPad app coming soon, one that is not made by e-Sword. But it will read e-Sword and theWord modules in RTF format (the way the PC versions do). It will be free, and it will allow for the easy integration of modules hosted on third party sites like this.

This will likely be the app we support on this site. (e-Sword for the PC, MySword for the droid, and [X] for the iPad). I don't have a timeline for when it will be here. Everything is subject to change, of course. But going a different iPad direction makes the most sense for us and it's the direction I've been pursuing.

Any new news on this?

No news. Could be weeks, months, never? Don't know. I only found out about it when they needed a Strong's dictionary compiled from public sources.

I bought the e-sword HD from the App Store to have access to the Pulpit Commentaries. Now, I find out that it is not available at this time even though it is one of the most wanted commentaries wanted for study. Kevin

That said. I want the Scofield reference notes as well as all Scofield and AC Gaebelein books converted. I was disheartened these were not already there and came here looking for how to add them on my own.
Thanks so much!!!
Kevin

Any chance of these?

Yes, it has been released: http://www.wordmodul...d-for-the-ipad/

I provide my review there of the app.

This app will read native theWord modules, requiring no format shifting! And it's FREE!

The downside is it will not read e-Sword premium modules because it's not made by Rick Meyers.

Also currently, it does not support Book/Topic modules, but that will soon change. I think in the rush to release, this was postponed until a future version.

Josh, Have you tried using iTunes and file sharing to drag and drop theword files onto the iBible iPad app? If it works, would it be a more direct route than infobox? Already I noticed the Greek font missing in Strong's display so tweaking is needed but it conceptually opens the door very wide for third party modules!

Thanks for your part in this.  I am going to download the app and give my input later.  I think this will be the app I was waiting for and will replace my HD Sword app.

I guess it is in the beta stages so I won't complain too much.  The New app iBible which can read Theword Bibles, Commentaries and Dictionaries is great ...but when I installed some books with ifunbox they showed up in the Prog but could not be read.  It is still a great app and easy to use, I am looking forward to its advancement.
