Regex search finds internal codes

When I do a regex search (for example, "\d" to find numbers in a Bible), e-Sword is finding internal codes (like "15" to indicate italics). I suspect folks are aware of this, but it makes that particular search almost useless since it returns tens of thousands of hits. Are there any plans to have regex only find stuff that is displayed in the Bible text?

Right, it's a bug. Looks like this:

It's still a bug 2 years later (version 10.4). Any idea if it will get fixed?

No idea about a fix.

 

Try this \s[0-9,]+[.]*\s

You should get better results in most Bibles.
