Good evening brothers in Christ,

Thanks very much for all your help. Here's what I did...

I'm still using Windows XP on this machine. I have been a user of eSword for at least 6 or 7 years, but I'm not an expert at eSword, nor a highly accomplished computer user by any means. Anyhow, with your clear, helpful descriptions, I was able to move all .topx files from My Documents\eSword to the Programs files\eSword, and then they showed up in the dropdown box of the Reference Library push button (at the far right of the tool bar). This accomplishes what I needed, and I'm very thankful in His name to you all.

Now I'm going to try it with Henry Alford's Greek New Testament. I'll see how I get on with that task. I enjoy his works, and it will be helpful to have them integrated into eSword.

Thanks again. The Lord bless each of you.

FYI: Alford's will not appear in the Reference Library. That resource will appear in the commentaries window.

I, too, downloaded an e-Sword module, but then couldn't find it.  So, as one of you advised, I went to Start, then to Computer, then to the C drive, then to Program Files (x86), then to e-Sword, then to Jubilee Bible 2000 (the module that I downloaded), but when I click on that, Microsoft Word opens up, and I am given the option of "selecting coding to make it readable."  I don't think that Microsoft Word is supposed to open up when I click on the Jubilee Bible 2000, is it?

If you kindly help me, I need very specific instructions.  I need to know exactly where to find something and exactly what to do when I find it.  In other words, you can't just say "Go to e-Sword."  You need to tell me how to get to e-Sword, because I don't know what you mean when you say e-Sword.  Is that the website?  Is it a program on my computer?  Sorry to be so ignorant, but I just am:)

Thank you ever so much for your help!  God bless you!

Colleen

You seem to be having a problem finding a download on your computer.

You are probably using Internet Explorer as your Internet Browser. Press CTRL-J to view all of your downloads. When you see the Jubliee module, Open or Run it (whatever the option says).

Attached File  view-downloads.png   41.91K   8 downloads

OR, try to download Jubliee again. You should see something like this in Internet Explorer, maybe near the bottom of the screen or the center.

Attached File  ie9-open1.png   7.36K   8 downloads

Again, Open or Run the file when you see this type of prompt.

That's as specific as I can get without knowing exactly which browser you are using and what your configuration is. The above screens may differ from what you see. The idea or concept is the same, though.

Hi Colleen,

e-Sword is a program which reads (makes viewable) the modules which can be downloaded from this website.

I'm wondering, did you or someone else install the program e-Sword on the computer you downloaded the Jubilee Bible 2000 e-Sword module? If not you will need to do so. Look in the bottom left hand corner of the BibleSupport.com website you will see "? What is e-Sword" this may/will be helpful.
