Hey Josh,

Congratulations on starting this new site for e-sword modules, and may the Lord richly bless your effort !

Is it possible to provide a downloadable list of currently available modules, especially Topic modules (both 8.x and 9.x), in order to compare with the modules one already has.

Also, a list of modules pulled from the site, for whatever reasons, would be nice. It would save a lot of time, instead of searching for something that has been pulled.

Many thanks,

Dyan

I have a list for e-Sword 9 modules. But not e-Sword 8 modules because Resourcer only seems to recognize 9.x? How do you guys organize 8.x modules?

Josh

If you only have e-Sword 8.x installed, you can use Resourcer 3.0.4 to list all 8.x Bibles, topics, commentaries, maps, etc. However, if you only have e-Sword 9.x installed, Resourcer will only pull 9.x Bibles, topics, etc. Whatever e-Sword is installed on the computer is the prevailing files that will be pulled for Resourcer.

You would have to uninstall e-Sword 9.x and install e-Sword 8.x, run Resourcer 3.0.4 to create a tab delimited file for conversion to Microsoft Excel for 8.x modules.

It is harder to run Resourcer on a server as many files are in .ZIP files or set up within application files.

Some people still use e-Sword 8.x. The changes made to e-Sword 9.x by Rick Meyers make it worthwhile to change from 8.x to 9.x.

There are three different tools named "Resourcer".
Three of those tools can recognize e-Sword 8.x and e-Sword 7.x resources.

An updated version of one of those tools only recognizes e-Sword 9.x resources.
