Hi all,

I am posting what I am working on. This work is my own personal studies. As a Resource Builder, I leaned how to make all sorts of modules for e-Sword to study the Word of God.

A lot of people study the Bible using cross referencing as I do. So I am designing a full complete Study Bible set which will include a Study Bible, a Commentary which will have a huge amount of cross referencing, a Dictionary with my teaching Topics that is linked to the Commentary. I will also have Graphics (mapx) and Reference Books (refx) which will have the complete Teachings.

I plan to have a full sample set up by the end of the year. And updated versions every 3-6months (depends on how things go).

Here is link to what I talked about earlier:

Please write any comments of Thoeology on that link.

This Link is to let you know how far I am in completing this Study Bible set.

Thank you

hi

Thanks for your encouraging words. Yes it is what I love (the Word) and Designing (not just clothes, but whatever I put my hands to [making modules]).

I believe that people will benefit from this work as they study the Word of God.

thanks again

Hi all,

Just to let ya'll know where I am at with my Bible Set.

I am starting to put reference (n) [Commentary] to the bible which is over 50,000 and the new testament of headings is finished and now working on old testament headings (2Kings to Malachi) left.

Once this part is done then I have over 10 years of notes to put into the set.

I am also working on

Color Markings and Chain of References

Color Markings

All verses about PROPHETIC SUBJECTS are marked with BLUE ink.
All verses about the HOLY SPIRIT are marked with DARK GREEN ink.
All verses about SALVATION are marked with RED ink.
All verses about TEMPORAL BLESSINGS are marked with FUSHION PINK ink.
in the Dictionary section, along with a lot more study tools.

I still plan to have a sample set by the end of the year.

Thanks

hi all,

I have a question to y'all:

If I do not get a sample bible set done by the end of the year (around my birthday or before Christmas), would you like a rough draft sample of the the Study Bible and Commentary (without the Dict).

So it would be what I have done so far with (bible will not have all the headings, some old English wording and not all the (n)'s) and the commentary will have the main parts but it will not be proofread completely.

I have calculated how many n's I have to put into the Bible estimate 3 n's per verse 30,000+ times that by 3 and add a little bit more 100,000. So this is a very big project. This is something I want to do for myself.

Would you like a rough draft sample set or would you want to wait till I finish?
Can you please respond (let me know) what you would like.

Thank you very much

would you like a rough draft sample of the the Study Bible and Commentary (without the Dict).

I can argue in favour of both approaches:
  • Do a release of the rough draft at the end of the year, then a polished version when the errors and additional data is included;
  • Wait for everything to be polished, prior to release;
The primary argument in favour of the first option, is that having a couple of people proofread the text, different types of errors can be searched for, and corrected.

The primary arguement in favour of the second option, is that the inferior version won't still be making the rounds in ten years time.
