Hi!
I bought a New computer with windows7 64bit.
I've installed e-sword 8.0.3 and ran well. However, I couldn't change fonts, because I couldn't see the font list.
So, I decided to update to e-sword 10.1.0, the symtom was the same.

Is this a known problem?
Did I do something wrong?

When you're talking about wanting to change your fonts, and not being able to see it, are you wanting to change the following:
  • The Default font for your Bible, Commentary, Dictionary views? or
  • The Default font for your Topic, Study, Note Editors? or
  • The Default font for the above two?
  • Just change a font in any of the Editors just for a particular Topic or Study or Journal Note?
As for the reason as to why you can't see the fonts, at an extremely rough guess, maybe its because the fonts e-Sword require are not installed in your fonts folder. But that is an extremely rough guess. Usually when you buy a pre-packaged computer with Windows installed, it comes with some fonts. I'm not certain what these fonts are. However if you have MS Office installed you usually get a heap of fonts as well which gets installed with it, and e-Sword will read any and all fonts that are in the fonts folder.

Your fonts folder should be in C:\Windows\Fonts, and that is usually where all fonts gets installed.

I don't know how helpful this is to you, but I hope that to some extent it has.

Sorry for your rough guess!
Thank you for your kind reply! However, what you have explained was the very basic for windows. Everything is ok what you have explained.
The problem is what I can see only system default font on the Bible, commentary, dictionary windows. I can't change any Bible, commentary, dictionary, note font.
In addition, I can't see any font list on the list field.
Very strange....

There was a problem identified in beta testing, where on XP OS, that if there wasn't a printer installed, the font dialog would not appear. So there could be some similar dependency issue here.

Thank you for your reply.
My compute has been installed windows7 64bit. After I installed a printer driver, the result was the same.
After I clicked "reset e-sword setting", nothing was changed.
