Yeah - your Matthew was 12mb. (it did shrink to 2.8 mb after passing through T4) I usually recommend keeping file size less than 10mb. So, perhaps doing the NT in 4 pieces. Define "choked"...

Settings - - I guess it is not secret but it is hidden. To access it, press: Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S. The "key" is "Color-Strong". double click on this to edit it. the default is "0 128 0" The three numbers are red, green, blue. I do not recommend editing the colors unless they match an e-Sword color, or the result will turn out black. So, values can be 0, 128, or 255. Not all combos are valid.

"Choked": It ran for about 90 minutes and then displayed an error message similar to the one I first posted. Text area was wiped clean, so I exited without saving.

I should add that I redid my file, eliminating the extra 0's. 9 meg for a DOC and 14 meg for RTF.

I broke it into three groups (lazy I guess). That worked.

I am unclear on the color of Greek text. I noticed that it is set for 0 0 0. What would be the correct setting for the blue that you used? I set it for 0 0 255, and that seemed to come out close.

Thanx!

ah - perhaps I did set the default to black. I would suggest changing it to this: 0 128 0

No - I have the default set to: 0 128 0. Interesting.

The default for Strong's is 0 128 0. For Greek and Hebrew the default is 0 0 0. However, 0 0 255 seems to work well.

I am afraid that I must report failure for the polytonic Greek. The first time I did it, everything worked fine, except the omicron with rough breathing (often transliterated "ho". See Matt 1:6.) Yours came out fine, but mine did not. Perhaps my assembling of the sections is what caused the problem. Here is what I did:

Section 1 is Matthew to Luke. Section 2 is John and Acts. Section 3 is Romans to Revelation. Plus I have a module define header as a separate file. I combined them using Add and Insert. I have used the Titus Cyberbit Basic font (default for e-Sword) but I also tried Galatia SIL Greek, Arial Unicode, and Courier New with horrid results. (I think I may also be confused by the Modules/Old RTF Code toggle. I have tried them both.) Anyway, I created the Bible module all at once after combining the source files into one within T4. Should I have assembled each section separately and then combined them? If so, what program should I use to combine them? [I discovered the Modules/Combine Files option. However the results were the same.] Additionally, I have had trouble universally changing the font in T4 and have used MS-Word. Did that undo the Unicode fixup?

Nevertheless, in T4, the characters all display correctly, with blue for Greek, green for Strong's, red for ParseCodes, and black for English (how did you get the colors in your copy posted earlier???):

Matthew 1:6 Ἰεσσαὶ G2421:N-PRI Jesse δὲ G1161:CONJ and ἐγέννησεν G1080:V-AAI-3S begot τὸν G3588:T-ASM the δαυὶδ G1138:N-PRI David τὸν G3588:T-ASM the βασιλέα G935:N-ASM king. δαυὶδ G1138:N-PRI David δὲ G1161:CONJ the G3588:T-NSM king βασιλεὺς G935:N-NSM and ἐγέννησεν G1080:V-AAI-3S begot τὸν G3588:T-ASM the σολομῶνα G4672:N-ASM Solomon ἐκ G1537:PREP by τῆς G3588:T-GSF the τοῦ G3588:T-GSM of the οὐρίου G3774:N-GSM Urias;

Your kind assistance is greatly appreciated!!!

Take each section, and create a BBLX file. Give each the same header, that's OK. After each BBLX file is built, then combine them into a single BBLX. How? T4. Menu: Modules+Combine Files+BBLX.

As for the copy and paste - in T4 select what you want to copy, right click, and select, "Copy Selection as BB Code". Then, paste into your message. Like this:
Matthew 1:6 Ἰεσσαὶ G2421:N-PRI Jesse δὲ G1161:CONJ and ἐγέννησεν G1080:V-AAI-3S begot τὸν G3588:T-ASM the δαυὶδ G1138:N-PRI David τὸν G3588:T-ASM the βασιλέα G935:N-ASM king. δαυὶδ G1138:N-PRI David δὲ G1161:CONJ the G3588:T-NSM king βασιλεὺς G935:N-NSM and ἐγέννησεν G1080:V-AAI-3S begot τὸν G3588:T-ASM the σολομῶνα G4672:N-ASM Solomon ἐκ G1537:PREP by τῆς G3588:T-GSF the τοῦ G3588:T-GSM of the οὐρίου G3774:N-GSM Urias;

Super. I did not see your message. I did try what you suggested, however. Perhaps I need to start over . . . .

What does this toggle actually do? Does it matter which way I have it set? I noticed that when it is not checked, the file is much larger.

Another question. Is there a difference in results when run on a 32-bit Windows XP machine and a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. I am getting results that I cannot seem to explain otherwise.
