I have exactly the same problem. the techs keep telling me to go to the activation screen and enter the code. there is no option to do that. It simply is not there! has anyone solved this because I keep getting the same response from the techs.

You need to download and install the app from their site, and this one allows an upgrade code. The one from the Play Store, no longer allows upgrade.
