I thought you all might find this interesting.

A man has researched every English version he could possibly find (including internet-only versions), and compiled the fruits of his research and is publishing it in a new book to be published this winter called the Encyclopedia of English Bible Versions.

https://www.facebook.com/EEBVBook

It compiles translators, website, history, translation philosophies, editions, background, etc...

It is thanks to his website/blog (Biblereadersmuseum.blogspot.com) that I found out about many of the Bibles that I have converted to e-Sword and uploaded here.

Just thought some of you would enjoy the information.

That is something I would want but at $75.00 it to pricey for me

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

For some reason, I never saw the price. You're right, that is somewhat pricey.

I recommend www.BibleReadersMuseum.com for those who are interested in some of the information from the book, but not interested in the price of his book. He's got links to a TON of Bible translations online, where you can then find out more about each translation individually.
