This is a book which debunks the myth that "the Jews had no way of preserving grape juice to keep it from fermenting, so all the 'wine' they had was alcoholic."
This book amply proves, using many expert testimonies and ancient writings, that the ancients had multiple ways of preserving unfermented grape juice--and they used these methods frequently. This book also shows that it was the sweetness, not the alcoholic content, that determined the quality of wine.
Even though it is over 100 years old, this book has been shown to be very useful, and proof can be seen in that it is still kept in print by many people, such as church of Christ, Baptists, and others.
